As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Mr. Cellante managed a diverse caseload of personal injury matters and zealously defended the City in pre-trial proceedings, arbitrations, and at trial. Mr. Cellante was a recipient of the agency’s Division Chief Award for the number of dismissals he obtained on behalf of the City.
Mr. Cellante also worked as an Associate Attorney at a high-volume, boutique law firm where he vigorously represented injured workers in administrative hearings and trials in the areas of NY Workers’ Compensation Law, NYCERS, and Social Security Disability.
While at Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Cellante served as an editor to the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law and worked as a mediator in the Notre Dame Mediation Clinic, where he successfully facilitated the amicable resolution of family law disputes. Demonstrating his natural interest in law as well as business, Mr. Cellante was awarded 1st Place Prize in the Business Category of the Arthur W. Page Society Case Study Competition for his submission, “Barneys Shop and Frisk” which was chosen among entries by business students from universities around the country.
In his spare time, Mr. Cellante enjoys deep-sea fishing, biking, and other fitness related activities. He was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
